About Us

Here at Abundant Life our vision is to see lives transformed. We believe that humanity was designed to live with peace, with joy, and with purpose; each individual living life to the full.

We know that for many people, health issues are an obstacle to doing that, and our mission is to assist you to dismantle those roadblocks to living a full and abundant life. On top of that, we have also seen that often it is a lack of peace, joy and purpose that leads to health issues. Our bodies, minds and spirits are intricately connected.

Here we take a big-picture approach. We believe that finding the cause of unwanted symptoms or behaviours is the only real way to make lasting change.

The cause of a condition may be purely biochemical – a higher or lower need for a particular nutrient, for instance, and then our job is to help you to meet that need through diet, supplementation or lifestyle changes as necessary.

At other times the source of a problem will be emotional, social or spiritual. Our approach considers all of these and more, because you are much more than a bunch of molecules. As practitioners that treat people, not just symptoms, this is our greatest passion and it is also where patients see the most exciting improvements. (And we understand that sometimes the greatest relief comes simply from having someone listen to you.)

Our emphasis is on whole-family well-being, and so each individual receives a prescription which takes the whole family’s need into account. Treatments that we prescribe include diet and lifestyle changes, nutritional supplements, referrals to other health professionals and behavioural strategies.

Our patients come from a wide range of backgrounds and most have a complex mix of symptoms – the type that no one seems to be able to figure out, especially those elusive conditions that plague our children in ever-increasing numbers, such as autism, ADHD, food intolerances and behavioural disturbances.

We are also excited to be able to use the Safe & Sound Protocol to help patients with nervous system regulation- for more information, click here.

Why “Abundant Life”?

Our practice name is derived from a quote from Jesus of Nazareth: “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I have come that they may have life, and have it abundantly.”

As we see so much theft and loss, death and destruction around us in the world, we want to do our part to contribute to the abundance of life that we ourselves have found.
